The School for Visually Impaired Pupils “Veljko Ramadanović” has been dedicated to the education and upbringing of children and students with visual impairments (VI), including those with multiple disabilities (MDVI), for more than 100 years.

Job Shadowing & Training Focus Areas:

Inclusion: Strategies and specialized support mechanisms for assisting teachers and visually impaired (VI) pupils within mainstream educational settings.
Teaching VI Pupils: Pedagogical methodologies, instructional adaptations, and direct classroom observation.
Assistive Technology in VI Teaching: Practical demonstrations and integration of specialized assistive tools and devices.
Individualized Therapeutic Treatment: Hands-on approaches covering sensorimotor integration, orientation and mobility, quiet room techniques, vibroacoustic therapy, and psychomotor re-education.
Institutional Visits & Best Practices: Field visits to the Union of the Blind and local mainstream schools to observe real-world inclusive practices.
