Hosting Organisation Description

The Skills Academy is located in Galway city on the west coast of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.  The Skills Academy Team have been involved in Erasmus+ programmes for more than a decade, hosting staff and students from member states.  We specialise in Teacher Education & Training and provide short term courses in areas of professional and personal development in line with national and EU strategies.

The Skills Academy Erasmus courses for Teachers have been designed to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s educational landscape. All of our courses combine English language learning with specific vocational specialisms, allowing participants to master subject content and expand professional knowledge while improving communication and English proficiency.
