Zavod za Novodobno izobraževanje (ZNI) specializes in managing and implementing international mobility projects for students, job seekers, educators, and businesses seeking to strengthen their human resources. Backed by 18 years of experience in international exchanges, ZNI operates within the framework of European funding programs, including Erasmus+ and the former Lifelong Learning Programme.

Core Strengths & Objectives:

Mobility Management: Organizes quality international work placements for Slovenian participants going abroad, as well as hosting incoming international candidates in Maribor companies.
Skills & Employability: Helps participants acquire practical work experience abroad within multicultural professional environments.
Established Network: Maintains a strong and reliable professional partner network comprising foreign institutions, hosting companies, VET schools, and local businesses.

Mobility program description

Staff Mobility Modules:

1. Aim of Mobility Projects & Quality Implementation: Explores how ZNI structures international mobility to help participants gain valuable work experience abroad. Covers ZNI’s approach to cross-cultural, personal, and professional preparation, with opportunities to observe project organization and visit participating host companies.
2. Preschool Education in Slovenia: Focuses on early childhood education and care for children aged one to six, highlighting a curriculum built around holistic development. Includes direct visits to partner kindergartens in Maribor to observe both local practices and Erasmus+ mobility integrations.
3. VET System in Slovenia (Mechanics, Wood Technology & Civil Engineering): Examines the practical design of Slovenian secondary vocational education and training. Participants will visit technical VET schools and local companies within targeted sectors to observe hands-on skill development and industry-school partnerships.
